20 or so connected open cogwheels in various shades of blue and teal with an icon in the central hole relating to some aspect of technologyA new portal from the UK Government has gathered together a list of free online digital courses in a variety of topics. Of most interest to readers of this blog will likely be the courses in computing and coding – these courses are for people learning programming / coding (as opposed to learning how to teach programming / coding).

Please note that we’ve not assessed the content of the courses so just passing this on for interest, and not as an endorsement. Course providers include The Open University, Google, Amazon and FutureLearn. The DfE also has its own legal disclaimer.

Also keep an eye out for the DfE’s new Digital Bootcamps
