The Computing Progression Pathways suggests that at the yellow level, on the theme of Hardware & Processing, a student should demonstrate that he/she:
- Recognises that a range of digital devices can be considered a computer. (Abstraction) (Generalisation)
- Recognises and can use a range of input and output devices.
- Understands how programs specify the function of a general purpose computer. (Abstraction)
