The Computing Progression Pathways suggests that at the pink level, on the theme of Hardware & Processing, a student should demonstrate that he/she:
- Understands that computers have no intelligence and that computers can do nothing unless a program is executed. (Algorithmic Thinking)
- Recognises that all software executed on digital devices is programmed. (Algorithmic Thinking) (Abstraction) (Generalisation)

- Rather than having to learn how to use your computers, your computers will have to learn how you would like to use them.
