The Computing Progression Pathways suggests that at the blue level, on the theme of Hardware & Processing, a student should demonstrate that he/she:
- Understands why and when computers are used. (Evaluation)
- Understands the main functions of the operating system. (Decomposition) (Abstraction)
- Knows the difference between physical, wireless and mobile networks. (Abstraction)
