The Computing Progression Pathways suggests that at the black level, on the theme of Data & Data Representation, a student should demonstrate that he/she:
- Knows the relationship between data representation and data quality. (Abstraction)
- Understands the relationship between binary and electrical circuits, including Boolean logic. (Abstraction)
- Understands how and why values are data typed in many different languages when manipulated within programs. (Abstraction)
