The Computing Progression Pathways suggests that at the purple level, on the theme of Communication & Networks, a student should demonstrate that he/she:
- Understands how search engines rank search results. (Algorithmic Thinking)
- Understands how to construct static web pages using HTML and CSS. (Algorithmic Thinking) (Abstraction)
- Understands data transmission between digital computers over networks, including the internet i.e. IP addresses and packet switching. (Algorithmic Thinking) (Abstraction)
