Annie Easley worked at NACA and NASA for over 34 years. She developed and implemented programs solving energy problems that have led to the foundation of technology used in launches of space shuttles and satellites.

Analysing alternative power technologies, including solar and wind sources, her work not only impacted the space program, but it was also used to improve energy conservation in commercial systems.
