Isaac Computer Science
Coding Challenge Escape Room
GCSE Discovery Event
This Discovery event is run by Isaac Computer Science in collaboration with the National Centre for Computing Education.
Speakers: Tina Thomas, Professional Development Leader, NCCE.
Aims
Join us for our Coding Challenge Competition, an exciting and engaging event designed to inspire and empower students in the field of technology and coding. This competition offers a unique opportunity for participants to enhance their problem-solving skills and work collaboratively in a fun and supportive environment.
No Prior Coding Experience Required:
Our competition is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all students. Instead of focusing on a specific programming language, the tasks emphasise problem-solving, logical thinking, and simple pseudocode, making it approachable for everyone.
Escape Room-Style Challenges:
The competition is structured as an interactive escape room. Participants will solve a series of challenges, each unlocking the next one. This engaging format promotes continuous learning and teamwork.
