Barts & Queen Mary Science Festival 2025 (Paul Curzon is speaking at this event on 24 June 2025)

The Barts and Queen Mary Science Festival (Thursday 24 June 2025) is an annual event which takes place at the Charterhouse Square campus (Clerkenwell / Farringdon, London) and is aimed at (older) secondary school pupils – particularly those with an interest in science and medicine – and their teachers / careers advisors. The talks in the afternoon have a computer science theme (ChatGPT, data and medical device design) and Prof Paul Curzon is one of the speakers.

If a group from your school is interested in attending please contact sciencefestival@qmul.ac.uk. Plan your journey by CityMapper (free online or phone app) but the Elizabeth Line will take you closest, to Farringdon station (use the ‘Barbican’ not ‘Farringdon’ exit) and will drop you right next to Charterhouse Square.
